Consuegra: the cutest little windill town in Spain, easily visited from Madrid & Toledo!
[𝘓𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘣𝘪𝘰] Spain’s national day, also known in Spanish as Fiesta Nacional de España, is celebrated every year on October 12 — but not all feel it should be celebrated.
[𝘓𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘣𝘪𝘰] Moving abroad from Canada to Spain was one of the craziest yet most rewarding decisions I’ve made. Living in another country for two years has given me a variety of unique experiences, from doing job interviews in a language entirely new to me to residing in an apartment with 9 strangers from all over the world during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Now that travel restrictions have gradually started to ease up — at least here in Spain/Europe — I figure it’s time I start writing again. And what better topic to start writing about than the one that’s at the top of everybody’s mind: COVID-19, aka coronavirus 🦠
A sheep takeover of Madrid! 🐑🐑🐑 Yes, you read that right. Our fluffy four-legged friends stormed the city a few weeks ago and seized temporary control of the major streets and passageways in Madrid, Spain. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Experimenting a bit with adding motion into still-images 👨‍🔬 Not perfect, but a fun idea!
